16' Long but still fun for Adults July 26, 2010 philyodaddy (New York, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As I am 25 and have no children, I cannot vouch for how kids would enjoy this toy. It was tested by myself 25/male as well as two females aged 21 and 28. All three had fun slip and sliding.
I set it up on a slight decline which added significant enjoyment for us older users. I weigh about 200 lbs and the thing held up even when all three of us went on it at the same time. I got a few scratches from aggressive jumping, but otherwise it seemed reasonably safe, despite the age restrictions.
I must say that I really want a longer slip n slide as we went quite past the end of the slide. 16 feet may be long enough for your kids, but its not long enough for you. Trust me on this.
If anyone has any suggestions of similar toys more geared for adults, please feel free to holla at me.
summer fun July 27, 2010 May D. Daughrity (NM) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This Slip and Slide provided good fun for my 3 1/2 and 8 yr. old grandkids. However, it only takes one slider at a time comfortably.
Birthday Party Slip N Slide August 17, 2010 J. Newitt I purchased this for the kids to play on for my sons 11th birthday. The kids had an absolute blast. We wished the slide itself was a little longer since the kids playing on it were bigger. It would be long enough for little kids. The boogie boards that come with it are too small for big kids and one blew up within the first 10 minutes of playing. The slide needs to be on the right angle for the water to squirt out of all the sprayers properly. Also, the grass under the slide will get trashed. With as much fun as the kids had on it, it was worth the price.
Slip n slide September 5, 2010 D. M. Testa (NJ, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We thought there were going to be three separate lanes, but it is actually just three separate colors. Three kids cannot go down at once, and not run into one another. One person can go down at a time, and have fun. The whole slide doesn't get wet enough. The seam split right down the middle the second time we played with it. It was a HUGE disappointment, especially for the price. We expected more from Slip n' Slide.
Fun for a day - NO LONGER!! August 10, 2010 Cheryl L Wilkinson (West Bloomfield, MI United States) My son (7) and daughter (9) really enjoyed this for an afternoon...mostly!!! Unfortunately, the product just doesn't stand up like the slip n slides of old. By the end of the afternoon, there was a tear at the end of the slide which grew into a gaping hole. Since the slide had a hole, there wasn't enough water pressure to keep the sprinkler going. Rather than the slip n slides of old...this is more a flop n fold.:(
